Working as a UX designer in oil and gas, I kept seeing the same thing at smaller terminals: people wrestling with administration that no one had built proper tools for. At the same time, I noticed how often software in this industry is designed around the technology rather than around the people using it. I kept thinking someone should build for these operators, and eventually realized there was no reason it shouldn’t be Arjen and me.
